Observative fan Marc Zsutty emailed us a addition to our collectables page about the Horizon Aerial HK. Appearently (after checking the page) we saw we forgot to add a picture of the kit.

Marc was so friendly to send in some of his pics, and it showed his expert modelling and painting of the model. Fully chromed, reflective and with freely moveable fans (the two side engines), making it as lifelike as possible.

"This is the 15" long Vinyl Horizon Aerial Hunter-Killer kit from T2 Judgment Day purchased from Ebay."

"Build up was straight forward using the usual techniques for Vinyl kits. However it was necessary to stuff the fuselage tightly with newspaper to help hold the proper shape."

"This was my first time using Alclad II chrome paint. It requires a smooth glossy black base coat. Then apply the Alclad II with an airbrush. Results are awesome, the pictures do not do it justice, you can actually see your reflection."

"The Alclad II dries nearly instantly and the model can be safely handled afterwards without fear of ruining the finish. I left the ducted fans (engines) free to move and they fit tightly enough to be set in any position."
