Searching for cheats and other gaming thingies to be included in our collectables databases, we came across the GameSpot site... and unless misstaken, we have not mentioned this 'older' news before... so here goes. Be sure to check out the pics on GameSpot; they are way cool! Let's hope the game rockes ;).

Despite the critical thrashing given Rise of the Machines, Atari is planning a second game based on T3.

"If at first you don't succeed, try, try again." That old adage seems to be the watchword at Atari today when the publisher announced Terminator 3: The Redemption, the second game based on the third Terminator film. The notice came in spite of the critical drubbing bestowed on the first T3 game, the Black Ops-developed Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines. Even though Rise of the Machines featured a trailer for Redemption, some experts speculated that the former game's hostile reception and lagging sales would cause the latter to be terminated itself.

Developed by Atari's in-house studio Paradigm Entertainment, Redemption will again let gamers step into the skin--and metal endoskeleton--of a terminator. As in the Terminator films and Rise of the Machines, that machine will feature the likeness and voice of then-actor and now-Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Terminator 3: The Redemption is due to be released in summer 2004 for the GameCube, Xbox, and PlayStation 2.

TF remark

A demo of the game is included in the PS2 and XBOX game T3: Rise of the Machines. We've already added more playing time in the demolevel then the entire game itself ;). The news on top has been placed for all those people interested in some cool images, not owning any of the consoles. And it's good to keep checking GameSpot for releases info... so you might wanna bookmark the page!
