Edward Furlong
The leader of the future resistance!
|
 |
Edward Walter Furlong was born on August 2, 1977 in Pasadena, California. Furlong had no intention of entering
Hollywood when at age 13, he was discovered by a casting agent for 'T2 Judgment Day'.
The agent had been searching for a young boy to play the role of John Connor, the leader of the human resistance.
Recognising that Furlong looked like he could be Linda Hamilton's son,
the agent cast him as Connor.
T2 Judgment Day enjoyed monstrous success, and Furlong began fielding offers for parts in films such as 'Pet
Sematary II' and 'Little Odessa'. In 1996, he reprised his role as John Connor in Universal Studios theme park
ride/short film 'T2:3D Battle Across Time', re-teaming with director
James Cameron as well as the stars of T2. He has since appeared in
critically acclaimed films such as John Waters 'Pecker' and 'American History X' with Edward Norton and in
several sequals to the cult-hit 'The Crow'.
