TerminatorFiles slowly renewing services

We are soo sorry that we have not been able to keep you folks in the loop of things. This might have cost us some of our more frequent (RSS) readers. Anyway... as you may or may not know, TerminatorFiles.com has not been updated since June of last year (thats 2009) and we have been busy totally rebuilding our fansite into a new fully flexed system. Appearently that has taken us more than 8 monhts already, not updating the old site in any way. Which might seem as if we are dead in the water, but nothing is further from the truth. And sure... this may still take some time to get launched, be assured that when we DO, this baby is gonna rock! Soo... for all those few that are still following us, we hope you'll still stick around and have the ability to wait a little more. TerminatorFiles.com is in its final stages of updating the new to be launched website, and we hope to deliver the new interface and content to you very soon. Give or take a few more weeks (or even months). Its still a fansite, and all should still be kept fun for us ourselfs too. That said, we hope to get things online asap. More to come in due time.

Terminator is a hit everywhere but the US

Though news sites in the US report that the Terminator: Salvation box office was disappointing (taking second place is not good?), and they tell us that this influences to continuation of the saga in said T5 and T6 movies, the US based distributor Warner Bros. and The Halcyon Company should take not that the US is not the only place in the world. As it turns out the Terminator: Salvation movie is taking a big piece of the pie in the rest of the world.

Special message to our RSS members

As some of you may have read on our website, we are very busy with stuff to focus on news. Depending on the news reader you are using, we still post old articles and they might come online on that set date, or all at once on the day they got posted. This has been the case the last two weekends, whey I decided to catch up on some of the newssources online, and adding the article when they were posted (in the past) but when added to the RSS, the feed loaded it as if it was all on the same date. Which is also true concidering that they DID get loaded onto the web at that specific date. I'm sorry to report we are behind on news. This will be the case for some time, but I hope this is not concidered a downside to being a RSS member of our feed. We do our best to get things on the website, but doing this with just a few folks has its repercussion on the speed of things. All we can offer at the moment is that you keep the site itself in check for the latest news that is launched in the section with the same name (top of intro page). The other big point I wanted to make in the special RSS only message is; we are here to stay! We've seen sites come and go over the years, but TerminatorFiles has kept going strong. Even if there will not be a Terminator 5 movie, we'll continue building out our beloved site. The subject matter is just too damn interesting. Lots to come, all in due time. Sorry for the lack of updates in the RSS feeds. Keep with us, and we promise lots of new interesting stuff will be added to our site in the next months (and years). Thanx in advance for sticking around!

RSS feed updates belated

Hi there... RSS members. As you may have noticed, there aren't many updates to the RSS feeds lately. This is due to the fact that we have not included any new articles since May 11th. Things have somewhat gone crazy over at TerminatorFiles.com and its buckling over its own success. We have taken some time off to focus on keeping our servers alive during this crisis, and though news drips in at a steady pace (or faster pace then normal) we've been working hard to keep our site working for all of the worlds reagons. Not that you might have notices any slag, or so we hope. One downside being that we got hacked a few weekends back and had to go offline for two days cleaning the site of spoofed intrusions. Anyway. With the release of lots of news, we have decide to include that as ONLINE NEWS in a new section on our homepage. A few RSS feed members contacted us about it and this message is posted in the RSS feed only to tell you that, this news will NOT be enabled in the feed. You may have to keep checking the main site for the latest info to be found about Terminator related subject. We will however try to speed up things as time progresses and when the hype around Terminator Salvation has died down a bit, we can focus on getting things back on track again as soon as possible. Sorry if this may inconvinience you in any way. One thing is certain: TerminatorFiles is here to stay for a long time coming! Maybe at a slower pace, but its gotta be the best Terminator fansite on the world, or this universe... and we want to keep it that way. More to come in due time... slower, but coming.
