After the talks amongst fansites, bigger official resources, and the neutral position of FOX with the rumours about the T:SCC series
being discontinued... now, finally, word comes out that FOX has ordered all episodes of the season 2.
Terminator Gets Full Season Order

Rejoice my fellow Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles fans - The show has just been given a full 22 episode second season by FOX.
The future had been looking rather bleak for the series, in the wake of less than stellar ratings for its second season, and there was a
lot of uncertainty over it going beyond the initial 13 episodes ordered this year. In fact, some reports absolutely insisted the show was
over and about to wrap production permanently, even as news came out that two additional scripts for episodes 14 and 15 had been ordered.
In FOX's originally listed schedule for this winter, Terminator, along with Prison Break, was not included – both shows were scheduled to
take a break, as 24 returns to FOX in January, to be paired with Joss Whedon's Dollhouse on Mondays. The Reporter's James Hibberd speculates
that one factor in FOX going forward with more Terminator is that Dollhouse had had some creative struggles and could be delayed.
However, he then goes on to say that the most likely reason for the pickup is simply that FOX executives feel Terminator is creatively a
strong show, and has a chance of improving in the ratings in the second half of the season - When American Idol returns, the network's
overall ratings always get a boost.
Of course, Terminator continues to air in an extremely competitive timeslot, and many fans -- myself included -- have noted that the show
could possibly benefit by moving to Wednesday nights at 9:00, after Bones.
The good news is that regardless of what night it airs, we'll at least get to see the full season play out.

Fox picks up 'Terminator' season

Fox has picked up "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" for a full season.
The network has ordered the back nine episodes of the show's second season from Warner Bros., sources say.
The sci-fi series has garnered a relatively modest rating on Monday nights this fall. Its most recent episode was seen by 5.7 million
viewers, garnering a 2.3 rating in adults 18-49 and a 6 share, tying NBC's "Chuck" in the 8 p.m. time period.
Fox's overall ratings tend to significantly increase after the first of the year, powered by "American Idol." Network executives may believe
the drama's audience will grow once the overall Fox tide rises.
The network earlier picked up a full season order of "Fringe" and has "Dollhouse" planned for midseason, both fellow sci-fi shows.

Terminator" is far from being terminated. Fox has just given a full-season order to "Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles." Cast and crew
were informed of the decision late Friday.
Back nine order was far from certain; show has been struggling in its Monday night time slot. But "Sarah Connor" has developed a fan
base and some positive critical attention along the way.
"Sarah Connor" was pre-empted this week due to baseball playoff coverage, but in its last airing, on Oct. 6, averaged a 2.3 rating and 6
share among adults 18-49, which was up slightly from the prior week.
Warner Bros. TV is behind "Sarah Connor," which stars Lena Headey in the title role, as well as Thomas Dekker, Summer Glau, Brian Austin
Green, Richard T. Jones, Garret Dillahunt, Leven Rambin and Shirley Manson.
Josh Friedman, John Wirth, James Middleton, Mario Kassar, Andrew Vajna and Joel Michaels exec produce.
