• Producer John Wirth about a possible DVD-set

  "There are shows like 24, which put out a DVD set after their first season and then the numbers increased pretty dramatically their second season. We're planning to do the same thing and we're hoping that there's enough cookies and goodies and so forth on that DVD set that people will discover that. And people that haven't maybe appreciated the show for what it is or think maybe that it doesn't have anything to offer them – like women for example – will discover "Wait a minute… There's two women in the leads in this show and they're strong women. One of them's a mother and the other is sort of a mother… That's cool. We want to see that." So we're hoping that we can grow this audience. We're delighted with what we have though.
  
  
• Josh Friedman confirms T:SCC DVD for August

  "I think there's a date for the DVD, but I don't know what it is. Hold out, I'm gonna yell out to somebody... (consulting producer) James Middleton says August. We did do a bunch of extras for the DVD. There's at least three commentaries out of the nine episodes, including a pilot commentary, one on the finale, one on the future episode, so we did a bunch of those. There are some mini-docs, we've got some good stuff. I think it's gonna be really cool. We had Summer (Glau), Thomas (Dekker), Lena (Headey), (director) David Nutter, James (Middleton) and some of the other writers and Brian (Austin Green) also. We all did commentaries, so there's some good stuff on it. I like it."

  "I was asked by Warner's DVD division to deliver project files of the classroom storyboard animatic (pieces of which can be seen in the podcast) as well as the podcast interview with David Nutter featured on Youtube. It was all specifically requested by the gentleman putting together the Terminator: SCC television series for DVD release. Whether or not this means it will be on the DVD remains to be seen, but there's a good chance it will be there."
