2008. Meet Rene Artois from 'Allo Allo', Kyle Reese from The Terminator or Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th!
Official DutchStarCon press-release
Tilburg, The Netherlands - Several Hollywood actors from popular (cult) films and TV series like 'The Terminator', 'Allo
Allo' and 'Star Wars' are coming to the next DutchStarCon on May 17 and 18, to have a fun weekend with many Dutch film,
fantasy, horror and science fiction lovers... for an absolutely fantastic weekend experience. The unique event takes place
in the Best Western Hotel 'De Druiventros' in Berkel-Enschot, Tilburg, The Netherlands.
Michael Biehn (The Terminator, Aliens, The Abyss, Grindhouse), Gorden Kaye (Rene Artois from the comedy TV-series Allo
Allo), William Forsythe (The Rock, Devil's Rejects, The Untouchables), Ari Lehman (the first horror-icon Jason Voorhees
from Friday the 13th) and many other Hollywood stars will give a signing session, be available for photographs with
visitors and join in on several Q&A sessions with many fans from The Netherlands and Belgium... or any others who
are going to be able to visit.
Besides the chance to meet these (and other) Hollywood actors, the DutchStarCon entertainment convention also features
a variety of other interesting activities. Visitors can acquire the film, game and comic goodies (posters, toys, DVDs)
on a large market from local and international traders, there will be various demonstrations and workshops related to
film and TV... and in addition, there will be several replicas and 'curioza' exhibited from many famous films.
In the afternoon there is a costume contest, where visitors who dressed up as their favorite movie or TV character get
a chance to win a prize. This is followed by a special dinner (application needed) with the Hollywood stars.
The DutchStarCon will be open both Saturday and Sunday, May 17 and 18, 2008, from 10 AM (10:00) to 5 PM (17:00).
All announced Hollywood actors are present on both days (depending on special circumstances). Tickets for the event can
be booked through www.dutchstarcon.nl and/or purchased
at the door.

Digging a little deeper
Since the TerminatorFiles' STAFF is natively Dutch speaking, we've digged a little deeper to translated some further
info for anyone that is going to visit our great little country to meet the Hollywood stars, not to mention Micheal
Biehn himself, the original savior Kyle Reese, from the Terminator movie. Whoohoo!
- Location
The DutchStarCon will be held at the Best Western 4-star hotel 'De Druiventros'. This location can be found
at 'Bosscheweg 11' in Berkel-Enschot (Noord-Brabant, The Netherlands), a small town plaatsje in the midst
of the two major cities 's-Hertogenbosch (Den Bosch) and Tilburg and is easy to find through the local highways.
The hotel has a very big parking and best of all, its free.
One can also book a room in the hotel. One has to contact the hotel for more info, through e-mail (check
their site) or by calling the following
number: 0031 13 533 91 15 (International) or 013 533 91 15 (local).
- Tickets
Pre-sale price (till May 9th, 2008): € 20.00
Weekend tickets: € 30.00
Tickets are also available at the entrance, but with an additional (unknown) pricing. Kids till the age of 12
have free access, but only if they are accompanied by at least one adult. When you arrive dressed-up as one of
your favorite film- or TV-character, you'll get a reduction of 5 euros (not applicable in combination with
other offers).
- Autographs and photoshoots pricing?
This depends on the specific guest, but the pricing is somewhere between € 15 and € 20 per autograph.
Photoshoots with the stars cost € 15 with one guest, € 20 with two guests.
- How do these sessions take place?
During a photoshoot, the photo will be taken with a professionel camera by an experienced photographer and in a
special booth with a seperate background. Nice glossy prints can be acquired at the local info booth. If you are
not able to get the print, a digital version will be sent to you through e-mail. For more information about these
options, please apply for it at the local information booth, available during the entire event.
During the signing-sessions, you pay for the autograph in advance. You then move into the line of the specific
guest you want an autograph from. The guest have their own sets of photographs available to choose from, but you
can also bring your own photograph, a dvd or something else you want them to sign.

Are you going? Then let us know!
Sure. We ARE Terminator fans ourself, and Dutch too, but the STAFF behind the TerminatorFiles is still
uncertain if they themselfs will attent this fun. Too much to do on other stuff. But YOU can make the
difference!
Michael Biehn is coming, but if YOU are also going to attend to DutchStarCon, being a fellow Dutch fan,
or any languaged dude/dudette for that matter... we are very interested in meeting you! It would be fun
to see real life faces of all those people that visit our site and forums. Soo... gonna go? Really sure?
Then be sure to drop us a mail and maybe we'll see ya there!
Or maybe, we WILL go and make some photos ourselfs of Michael Biehn, getting autographs and resell them
online for the highest TerminatorFiles bidder ;). Or check out the local market... was it not that our
own cumulative collections (STAFFmaster Vic and STAFFmember Maurice combined) already account for over
1500 individual collectibles. And then still trying to find that special missing item? Maybe. Maybe not.
Gonna go? Make the difference! Let is know!
