No California, no Arnold?
At the end of a San Francisco Chronicle article, it says the following. "Entering his second year in office, Schwarzenegger
has largely dropped references to his movie career and has taken on a more serious, gubernatorial tone. But Hollywood is still
calling."
"The governor said he had been approached about making a brief appearance in "Terminator 4,'' but has told producers "they
will never see me for one second in the movie" unless the film is made in California. It's planned to be shot in Budapest."
Humph... so basicly we all know the deal whenever production starts in Budapest. No Arnold cameo in a Terminator movie? If
the producers and the studios move forward with this, the saga might possibly turn a new leaf... and develop into a
Schwarzenegger-less story. Lets just hope they don't f*ck it up (like some fans already think they did before with T3).
And a new name to promote the movie? This bring some mixed fealings in the fanbase, not to mention a devission with one
group going for the saga and another only for the lead role wich should be portrayed by the one and only Terminator himself.
We ourselfs are also devided; for one, we would love to see any continuation of the saga, but without Arnold at the helm, we
can't help but wonder if it will turn out into a real Terminator movie. We'll first have to see it, to believe it...
Update
TAFs did it again! They report on the above news, only
5 days after us. Just gives to show that any Terminator fan interested in up-to-the-minute info, should check out our site
first ;). Need info? Keep your eyes focused on the TerminatorFiles, before reading about news a week or more later on other
sites.
PS: "No Arnold equals my big middle finger in the face of T4" as mentioned in the TAFs article, is a bit too much for our
taste. I know they must feel that way, but to tell everyone through the site (and in a sence influencing fans individual
decisions/choices in this) is not a good thing in our book. So here's our own proverb: No Sylvester equals two of our big
middle fingers, and several of our smelly toes, in the face of Rockey 18, The Quest for More Money! ... Sounds just as
stupid, doesn't it?!
