T2 High Definition Quality clip
During development of the T2 Extreme DVD, we saw our first glimps of the developments of the new High Definition
Quality. Metioned by one of the executive producers of the discset, but later withdrawn from production due to the
fact that probably in most cases, people buying the disc wouldn't be able to see it on their conventional DVD-players.
Or they would have to run it on their computer with Windows Media Player 9 Professional.
Interested in whats this 'HD' is all about?
Microsoft has a site available with an explaination and examples of this high grade quality format.
Windows Media Audio and Video 9 Series is a breakthrough new set of codecs that enables high definition video at
resolutions up to 1080p and multichannel audio. See High Definition in action for yourself. Download samples of HD
content in 720p and 1080p.
Download the clips to experience high definition Windows Media Video. To deliver ultra-high quality, these clips were
encoded 24 fps, and at the resolution noted of either 1280 x 720 (720p) or 1920 x 1080 (1080p).
Most important... a 1:59 clip of the Terminator 2: Judgment Day movie has been included on the download page!
