This IS the Directors Cut

From the T3 forum: In the latest EMPIRE magazine review of the T3 DVD (which got 4 stars for the film and extras) there is an exclusive interview with Jonathon Mostow which reveals how watching the T2 Ultimate Edition helped him to direct T3.

In the interview he states that the Sgt Candy scene was made specifically for the game (so it aint a deleted scene). More worrying though is this statement:

Empire
"Its not really a deleted scene then?"

Mostow:
"Before I ever get to shooting a movie, I go through the script carefully so that I don't shoot scenes that aren't necessary. Inevitably, its only once you put it together that you start to notice that A connects to C and you don't really need B; that going straight to C is a more efficient way to tell the story. But there won't be a Director's cut in the future - this is the directors cut."
