Info: files.worthplaying.com

Found through the official T3 forum... a link towards a 168MB file with a playable demo of War of the Machines. Also featured in the same post is a link to WorthPlaying.com, which has some US and Europian mirrors available for download.

Official availability pressrelease (?!)

"Atari has released a multiplayer demo for Clever Software's upcoming shooter Terminator 3: War of the Machines. This multiplayer demo lets you check out a few maps called 'Lab-Present' and 'Downtown' in the Team Deathmatch, Mission and Termination modes."

Update

The demo that was released is made for the press (as can be seen by it's name). Atari will propably re-release a new demo for potential customers. If this one is the same (or not) is yet unknown. Some people might ask themselfs if this 'multiplayer' demo can be played with only one person... and the answer is; yes. Just add bots to a game to check the multiplayer function and thus the game itself.

Depending on the server, your connection and availability (tweaked connections), it might take you a while to download the file. Our own download dialog (which was started after this news was posted) says it will take approx. 2 hours and 45 minutes to download. But what the hell... we wanna play!!!

Thanx to RossBond and H-street for the forum scoops!
