Danes glad to have done it

Claire Danes is glad she agreed to appear in the upcoming Terminator sequel on the spot - because she wasn't convinced she was right for the part and might have changed her mind if she'd waited.

The Romeo and Juliet star was second choice to appear alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger, after the original choice for the role, Sophie Bush, was deemed too young. As a result she wasn't given any time to consider the offer.

Danes explains, "I was nervous stepping into it but I didn't have time to think about it - they needed me quickly.

"I might have decided not to do it at all if I actually had any time to deliberate and mull over it - I didn't think it was me at all at first."
