Furlong out of Terminator 3

According to the Counting Down website Edward Furlong, who played John Connor in Terminator 2 will not be returning in the third movie. In a recent interview Furlong said he was very interested in reprising his role but the producers are worried about his increasing problems with Drugs and Alcohol. Furlong joins Linda Hamilton as another missing T-2 cast member.

Casting for a new John Connor is due to start next week with Edward Norton name already getting a lot of mentions but I don't think an actor as good as Norton would do this unless the script was extremely good and he had some control over the character direction.
